Clients Book the Day.
Deadmiles Optimises the Route.
Traditional booking apps were designed for salons and clinics where customers walk in at a fixed hour. When mobile services use them, they spend half their day criss-crossing town.
Deadmiles flips the model: clients book their regular service day, the app calculates your optimal stop sequence, and clients receive their estimated arrival window on the day.

Why the Flipped Booking Model Changes Everything
Most booking systems make you fit mobile routes into rigid, walk-in time slots. Deadmiles turns the model on its head so your schedule serves your business, not the other way around.
Clients Book the Day, Not the Hour
Letting clients pick arbitrary times (9am North, 11am South, 1pm North) is what causes painful zig-zag driving. With Deadmiles, clients book their recurring service day, giving you the freedom to run a sensible, grouped route.
Zero Route Guesswork
You never have to manually puzzle out the best stop order or rely on "how it's always been done". Deadmiles automatically calculates the optimal sequence for your day's stops and caps total daily driving to protect your sanity.
Clear Arrival Windows & 1-Tap SMS
Once your day's sequence is set, clients know what window their appointment falls into. When you're heading their way, 1-tap texts from your phone let them know you're on approach—no awkward guessing for them, zero SMS fees for you.
Holiday Pause Protection & Gate Proof
Clients can pause for holidays without losing their recurring weekday slot or breaking your future schedule. Snap a gate latch photo on completion to keep timestamped proof of visit for total client peace of mind.
Admin Blocks — Time You Take Back From The Calendar
Van service day? Depot prep every Tuesday morning? Charging the EV and you don't want bookings squeezed around it? You draw the block — a recurring weekday window or a single date — and Deadmiles stops offering those hours to clients automatically. It covers maintenance days, admin, rest, or a public holiday where the whole town's booking and you're not.
Booked stops that collide with a new block get handled, not dropped: you get conflict options right there — next clean window, split fill, or block-and-queue for batch rescheduling. Clients on a blocked day simply can't pick it. The calendar tells the truth before anyone has to text an apology.
Simple to Use From Your Van
Everything you need on a stop takes just one or two taps. No clutter, no complicated menus, no pinch-and-zoom frustration.
📱 Fast Mobile Web App
Open your schedule in any mobile browser on your phone. It loads instantly, works cleanly in full sunlight, and gives you your exact stop sequence for the day.
⚡ 1-Tap Navigation & Texting
One tap launches your preferred maps app (Google, Apple, or Waze). Another tap opens your phone's SMS app with a pre-filled arrival message so clients know you're pulling up.
📸 Gate Safety Photos & Job Notes
Snap a photo of the closed gate and tick off your service checklist before you leave. Keeps clear proof of visit and ensures gates are secure.
Most Tools Weren't Built for Regular Neighbourhood Runs
When you run a recurring mobile service, you usually have to choose between two frustrating options: surviving on messy calendars, or overpaying for enterprise software you only use 10% of.

Without Deadmiles
🚗 Routing on "Vibes" & Guesswork
You guess your stop order each morning or follow "how it's always been done", driving back and forth across town as new jobs get added randomly.
🔍 Notebook & Text Message Scramble
You pull up to a property and have to search through chat history or paper notebooks to find the side gate code or check dog notes.
🏖️ Holiday Pauses Break the Schedule
A regular client pauses for two weeks. When they return, their slot got overwritten or bumped, causing double-bookings and awkward phone calls.

Keeps the Tools You Already Use
Switching scheduling software usually means changing how you get paid, where your client list lives, and what your customers have to install. Deadmiles asks for none of that. It runs your route day — your money, data, and devices stay exactly where they are.
Keep Taking Payment Your Way
Stripe, Square, PayID, your bank's biller, your POS — whatever you use today keeps working. Paste your existing payment link once and it rides along in every job-done SMS and visit email automatically, so clients pay you the way they already do. Deadmiles never holds your money and never touches card details.
Import Clients From a CSV
Already keeping your run sheet in a spreadsheet, notebook app or the old system? Upload it as a CSV during setup and your clients land in Deadmiles with their suburbs, notes and service days intact — or start fresh with a couple of taps if you're brand new to scheduling software.
Your Clients Just Get Texts
No app store, no passwords, no onboarding call with your customers. They get plain SMS with a link to their visit details, arrival window and pause button — works on any phone, including the flip phone your regular on the hill still carries.
Your Data Walks Out With You
Full client list, visit history and service records export to CSV any time you like — no support ticket, no waiting period, no "contact sales to leave" dance. Cancel the day you stop wanting it. That's the deal we'd want on the other side of the counter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about how Deadmiles works on the road and behind the scenes.
Why do clients book a service day instead of an exact hour?
Traditional booking software was made for walk-in salons where clients come to you at a specific hour. In mobile services, letting clients pick arbitrary times forces you to criss-cross town all day. Deadmiles flips the model: clients book their regular day, the app calculates your optimal route sequence, and clients get an arrival window on the day backed by a quick arrival text when you're 30 minutes away.
What are the daily arrival windows?
You can choose the arrival window structure that best fits your trade: either a 2-window format (AM / PM) or a 3-window format (AM / Midday / PM). Once your route order is calculated, clients receive their designated window on the day so expectations are clear without locking you into unrealistic minute-by-minute promises.
How does Deadmiles know how long my jobs will take?
When setting up your account, you can create up to 6 custom job types with average on-site durations, plus any setup and pack-down buffers. Deadmiles factors in these durations alongside actual road travel times to accurately build your daily schedule and arrival windows.
Can I update my job times if I set the default too long or short?
You can do much more than that. In your admin dashboard, you can review your past weeks and months to see how long you actually spent on site per job type. No more guessing—use your own real-world road data to fine-tune your durations and dial in the perfect daily job capacity.
What if I start and finish my day in different places?
Whether you leave from home and finish at a commercial waste depot, tip, or supply yard, Deadmiles lets you set your start location and finish location separately. The route engine factors in both locations so your last job of the day naturally leads toward your final stop without extra backtracking.
Is my customer data secure?
Yes. All your business records are kept completely separate and isolated from other operators, and all client Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is securely encrypted in the database at rest. Your client list and property notes are private and protected.
What happens when a recurring client goes on holiday?
When a client pauses service for a holiday or bad weather, their regular weekday slot stays reserved. When the pause period finishes, their schedule resumes automatically on their normal day without you having to manually re-build your calendar.
Do my customers have to download an app or create an account?
No. Customers don't need to download anything or remember any passwords. They receive clean SMS notifications and simple web links where they can view visit details or request a schedule pause directly from their phone.
Can I export all my customer data if I ever want to leave?
Yes. You own 100% of your business data. You can export your full customer list, visit logs, and service records whenever you want in clean, portable formats. There are no lock-in contracts or export barriers.
Do I have to change how I take payment?
No. Deadmiles never holds your money and never touches card details. If you already use Stripe, Square, PayID or a bank biller, paste that link once in your settings and it appears automatically in job-done texts and visit emails, so clients pay you exactly the way they do now. Cash and debit-on-the-van keep working too — the software's job is your route day, not your register.
What if I need time off the books — servicing, charging, or just a flat-out Tuesday?
That's what Admin Blocks are for. You mark a window — a recurring weekday block or a single date, for you or for the whole business — and those hours simply stop appearing on client booking calendars. If existing stops collide with a new block, the app walks you through options on the spot: bump them to the next clean window, split-fill around it, or block the time and batch-reschedule the collisions. Your downtime is protected before a client can book over it.
